What we do with your data.

01What we collect

Account stuff: your email and password. Shocking, we know — a login form that asks for an email. Your password goes straight to Supabase (our database host) and we never see it. Frankly, we don’t want to. We have enough to remember.

Your profile: name, age, location, bio, interests, gender, dating preferences, and your profile photo. You typed it, you uploaded it, and yes — other users see it. That’s rather the point of a dating app.

Your activity: who you swipe on, who you match with, and the messages you send those matches. We store messages so chat actually works, not so we can read your flirting. (It’s great, by the way. Keep it up.)

Payment: one dollar, one time. It’s handled entirely by Square. We never see, touch, or store your card number — Square does the money stuff and tells us “all good.”

02Why we collect it

Because it’s a dating app. We can’t show you to people without — and stay with us here — showing you to people. Your profile powers discovery, your swipes power matches, your messages power conversations, and your email powers the radical concept of logging in.

We don’t collect anything to sell, to advertise at you, or to build a psychological profile of your attachment style. Other apps monetize your loneliness. We monetize one (1) dollar.

03Who we share it with

Supabase (supabase.com) — hosts our database and handles login. Your account, profile, swipes, and messages live in their Postgres database. They’re infrastructure, not a business partner with opinions about your love life.

Square (squareup.com) — processes your one-time $1 payment. They get your payment details; we get a thumbs-up. That’s the whole transaction.

And that’s the entire list. No advertisers. No data brokers. No “trusted third-party analytics partners” — a phrase that has never once meant anything good. If we ever shared your data with anyone else, this page would say so, and you’d have every right to be furious.

04Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and remember basic app state. That’s it. No tracking pixels, no third-party ad cookies, no tiny digital spies following you around the internet judging your tabs.

05How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Your profile, matches, and messages stick around so your conversations don’t evaporate mid-flirt and your matches don’t forget you exist.

Delete your account and we delete your data with it — profile, swipes, matches, messages, the works. We don’t keep a “just in case” copy in a drawer somewhere. When it’s gone, it’s gone.

06Your rights

It’s your data, so you call the shots:

See it — most of it is right there in the app, on your profile screen. What a concept.

Fix it — wrong age? Typo in your bio? Regrettable photo choice? Edit it yourself in the app, anytime.

Delete it — want out entirely? Email Admin@mann-forge.com and ask us to delete your account and data. We’ll do it, no guilt trip, no “are you sure?” maze, no retention specialist calling you at dinner.

07Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use ONE BUCK Dating. This isn’t a suggestion or a vibe — it’s a rule. If you’re under 18, please go do your homework. If we find out an account belongs to a minor, we delete it. No drama, just gone.

08Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we’ll update this page and bump the date at the top. We won’t email you about it at 3am or bury the changes in paragraph 47. If a change is big enough to matter, we’ll say so plainly — that’s rather the theme here.
